Everyone will stop doing it the moment the TSA stops making it into such an enormous joke. The emperor has no clothes and there will always be people willing to point that out.

Sure, the TSA is a joke, and everybody knows it. But silly pranks like this are still just silly, pointless, juvenile pranks. It’s childish, really. Plus, it’s been beaten to death already.

It’ll be beaten to death already when the TSA stops being ludicrous. If you’ve got a better way to point out how silly they are, then step up and go for it. Until then I’ll keep applauding the people making the idiots look ridiculous.
