Community Organizers Don’t Like Being Ridiculed? Then They Should Stop Being Ridiculous

Check out this hilarious site called Community Organizer. There’s this:

…community organizing is essential to American life, essential to the fabric of American society.

Oh really? Sending activists to tell people they deserve more government handouts and pressuring the banks to buy homes for minorities on welfare is “essential to the fabric of American society”? I guess people should forget that nonsense about personal responsibility being the American way of life.

Then there’s this:

Talk about the election with everyone you meet…even in an elevator. I usually start with an assumptive question. “So, you’re voting for Obama, aren’t you?” [...] Engage them. Don’t pound them over the head with a crazy rant, but add your two cents as to why they should vote…and who they should vote for.

Doesn’t seem like an especially bright guy. If a total stranger in the elevator starts telling you how you should vote, will you really go and vote as you are told?

Organize toward voting against Republicans! If all the community organizers in America now turn part of their attention to getting out the vote, that would do two things: 1) defeat McCain/Whatsername; and 2) prove to the Republicans that community organizers are wayyyy more impactful than they want to admit.

And more here:

Let’s do everything we can to insure a Democratic victory…

Oh, I see now. Community organizing is about ensuring that the people being organized vote Democrat.

Really, are there any community organizers who are not working hard right now to get Barack Obama elected?
